Plastic Venus

Original oil painting on gallery-wrapped canvas.

Gloss varnish finish. Signed and dated (2019).

Size: 24 × 36 in

A study of the body as surface, construction, and spectacle.

Rendered in saturated primaries with a polished finish, the figure appears exaggerated and sculptural. Smooth planes and heightened proportions reference fashion imagery, cosmetic enhancement, and the aesthetics of visibility within contemporary culture.

The painting presents an image rather than a person, something engineered, maintained, and displayed with precision. The work observes this condition directly, without sentimentality or judgment.

Original work. One of a kind.
